Day 1 Monday/Thursday/Saturday
Edmonton, capital and most vibrant metropolis in Alberta. Board
the train at North Edmonton station westbound at 8:05AM for
8:55AM departure. Breakfast is served in the dining car. arrive
in the "Jewel of the Canadian Rockies" Jasper, Alberta
early afternoon. There is time to step off the train for souvenir
shopping and a quick stroll of the streets of Jasper. Re-board
the train and roll across the Continental divide.
It is easy to strike up conversations
with travelers from all over the World in the Park Car (lounge),
dining car or dome car.
Spend the night aboard the train
enjoying the spectacular vistas of Mount Robson, Moose Lake
and the Thompson Valley.
Day 2 Tuesday/Friday/Sunday
Arrive in lovely Vancouver at 7:50AM, British Columbia
We can arrange hotels in Vancouver
or Edmonton and we can arrange 2 or 3 night stopovers in Jasper
or Kamloops and transfers to Victoria on Vancouver Island)
