Then a cruise excursion will take you to the colourful history of Victoria with First Nations totem poles, heritage architecture, afternoon teas, and shopping for British imports. Relax onboard the all-daylight 'Rocky Mountaineer' to the resorts of the Canadian Rockies.

DAY 1 Vancouver
Arrive in Vancouver and transfer to your hotel (not included).

DAY 2 Vancouver
Today, enjoy a full-day sightseeing tour of Victoria beginning with a ninety-minute ferry ride on board B.C. Ferries (included) through the Gulf Islands to Vancouver Island. Upon leaving the ferry, the motorcoach will take you to Butchart Gardens (included) and then on a city sightseeing excursion. You will have some leisure time in Victoria to explore on your own. Late this afternoon, transfer back to Vancouver via B.C. Ferries.

DAY 3 Vancouver
Explore Vancouver on a guided city tour this morning. The remainder of the day is at leisure.

DAY 4 'Rocky Mountaineer' to Kamloops
Your day begins with an early morning taxi transfer (included) to Vancouver's Pacific Central Station to board Rocky Mountaineer daylight train. Travel though the Pacific Coastal Mountains, Hell's Gate and onto Kamloops for the evening. (Breakfast and lunch onboard). Transfer (included) to your hotel in Kamloops.

DAY 5 'Rocky Mountaineer' to Banff
Transfer (included) back to the Kamloops train station where you will reboard Rocky Mountaineer and continue on your journey to the Canadian Rockies (breakfast and lunch onboard). Travel through the South Thompson River area, Kicking Horse Pass and Spiral Tunnels before arriving into Banff. Transfer (included) to your hotel upon arrival.

DAY 6 Banff
This morning, a Brewster motorcoach and driver will guide you up the Icefields Parkway with a stop at the Columbia Icefield Interpretive Centre. Take time to explore the surface of Athabasca Glacier on board a specially-designed Ice Explorer (included). Return to Banff after your glacier tour.

DAY 7 Calgary
Today, a Discover Banff Excursion is on your agenda. Highlights include admission to the Cave and Basin National Historic Site. This afternoon, take a transfer (included) to Calgary International Airport or your downtown hotel.

This vacation is available in reverse, departing from Calgary.
