DAY 1 Calgary (or can start on modified itinerary from Edmonton)
Transfer on your own to your Calgary hotel and spend the balance of the day exploring this lively, friendly city. Included tonight is dinner at the famous Calgary Tower.DAY 2 Banff
Your motorcoach adventure will start from downtown Calgary this morning heading towards the town of Banff. Upon arrival, a sightseeing tour will take you to the Cave and Basin, the hoodoos, a photograph stop of the Bow River and an afternoon gondola ride. Your next two overnights will be spent at your chosen hotel in Banff providing plenty of opportunities to explore the many shops, restaurants, and tourist attractions.DAY 3 Jasper
Today your journey will take you northwards into Jasper National park along one of the most scenic hightways in North America. After a stop at the Columbia Icefields for an interpretive Ice Explorer ride onto the Athabasca Glacier, you will continue on to Jasper for your overnight stay.DAY 4 Jasper
A morning discovery excursion of Jasper will include many fantastic sights including Pyramid Lake and Maligne Canyon. Following your tour you will take a cruise (seasonal*) on Maligne Lake with a stop at the famous Spirit Island, providing opportunity to photograph one of the most popular lakes in the world. The afternoon is at your leisure and the overnight is spent at your chosen Jasper hotel.DAY 5 & 6 Quesnel / Whistler
This morning board Rocky Mountaineer bound for Quesnel. Breakfast and lunch are included at your seat today. After crossing into the province of British Columbia, you will pass by Mount Robson, the Rockies’ highest peak. Your route follows the famous Fraser River; keep your eyes open for grizzly, moose, beaver and osprey. Upon arrival in Quesnel, you will be transferred (included) to your hotel. On Day 06 follow the Fraser River to Williams Lake, leaving the great Northern Forest behind. Stunning transitions between geological zones create unusual and impressive scenery: from vast timber stands to broad grasslands and lush wetlands. Breakfast and lunch are included at your seat today. Upon arrival in Whistler, You'll transfer (included) to your hotel.DAY 7 Whistler
Your day is free to enjoy the sights of Whistler. You may wish to take in the scenery with a spectacular trip up the Whistler Sightseeing Gondola (included, seasonal*) or participate in a guided hike, ATV tour, or helicopter ride.DAY 8 Lac Le Jeune
A late morning departure from Whistler will take you eastbound into the interior of British Columbia. Travel through the scenic mountain ranges and glaciers of Duffey Lake Road with a lunch stop at the historic village of Lillooet. Continue on through Cache Creek and Kamloops areas to arrive at Lac Le Jeune Resort in time for evening dinner.DAY 9 Calgary
After breakfast (included), a morning departure will take you eastbound towards the Canadian Rockies. After passing through the Shuswap Lake area, Salmon Arm and Sicamous, you will arrive in Revelstoke in time for lunch. Your motorcoach journey continues over the Kicking Horse Pass and Continental Divide with brief stops in the alpine towns of Lake Louise and Banff. Then, an early evening departure from Banff will take you to Calgary and your overnight hotel.DAY 10 Calgary
